Here are a few tips to help keep your pet's safety in mind while decorating:- Be cautious when using candles. Pets can easily knock over a lit pumpkin and cause a fire. Curious kittens especially run the risk of being burned or singed by candle flames.
- Keep wires and cords from electric lights and decorations out of reach to avoid electrical shock. Puppies especially love to chew cords.
- Pumpkins and squashes are not necessarily toxic to pets but can cause stomach upset if digested.
